Baptisms
The Doctrine of Baptisms (Hebrews6:1-2) - Three New Testament Baptisms
The mode of baptism is by immersion, as is according to the literal definition of the word Greek baptidzo, or baptize, which is to fully immerse, sink, absolutely overwhelm and bury. The word baptize-baptidzo never means to sprinkle or pour. There is no example in any Greek literature throughout the ages where the word has lost its original meaning, or where it means anything else but to submerge or immerse, or where it means a partial application of water by sprinkling or pouring.
